Everything! Is beautifully decorated, all clean and service is friendly and impeccable. If you’re traveling to Tayrona Park this hotel is the best option I have ever made (and this is my 26 time there) food is absolutely amazing and prices are fair.
You could walk from the hotel 5ish mins and go to Los Cocos beach or take a bus and go down to Tayrona Park in a few minutes
Please de not go to playa Los Angeles, all disappointing there, not worth it at all.
Casa Bambú Tayrona has a restaurant, outdoor swimming pool, a bar and shared lounge in Los Naranjos. With a garden, the property also features as well as a terrace. At the hotel, each room has a desk....

We stayed the night before inside the park and we were exhausted after two days of hiking. Arriving here was such a blessing: the serenity, the facilities, the food, the drinks, the pool, the atmosphere - we couldn't have wished for a better place to recover after Tayrona!

We stayed in Casa Barlovento after the four day Lost City trek. It was the perfect place for rest and relaxation. The staff were adorable and there was a wonderful atmosphere about the place. A real retreat and highly recommended.

Exceptional location, right at the junction between the sea and the river. Our room was incredible... literally above the waves crashing with an open concept and a Mosquito net around the bed. By far, the best accommodation we had in Colombia! Lovely staff, nice pool, excellent restaurant and breakfast. Very special place. Do not miss it!
Situated 3 km from the Tayrona National Park, Finca Los Angeles offers rustic accommodation with direct access to a private beach. The charming rooms feature hand-carved furniture and hammocks.

I highly recommend this place if you want to rest and switch off from the noise and business of cities, very nice place to stay, great service. We will come back.
The best hostal in Tayrona!!! Great small cozy and confortable hostal in the middle of the nature with great views. The room was spacious with a great bed and a private bathroom, great view to the mountains and quiet in the night. I will definitely be back soon. Delicious coffee and pancakes for breakfast. Its 8 minutes walking from the road and 15 minutes walking to the beach los cocos.

Proximity to Tayrona really good - El Zaino entrance and walks. Other destinations a longer taxi ride (such as Minca) but all manageable.
Property itself is lovely. Immaculate, spacious and a very good food offering. Delightful service.
Nice pool and lots of space around to take in diffract views. Only negative is the weak shower pressure (cabana 1).
Easy drop down to beach and sea - and very atmospheric bar for sundowners.
Pretty much perfect

Liked: Came here in October 2021 and returned mainly because the place is absolutely beautiful. The view is stunning, you're in the middle of nature and wherever you look there are amazing birds or giant trees.
Disliked: During our five day stay, the water was cut three times and electricity went out twice (this didn't happen last year). Also, almost every night a noisy water leakage would start under the cabin and the last night there was a hydraulic motor-bomb malfunction nearby, very noisy as well. Every time I called the administration and they responded in good will, sometimes being able to help and sometimes not. But these issues are clearly the result of long-term poor management, and there is only so much the on-site staff can do.
Also, the hotel sells the idea of being able to offer good wi-fi: nothing could be further from the truth. Wi-fi is extremely unstable. You can go hours, even days without connection. So this is not a good place to go if you require a stable internet signal. I went with the idea of working remotely and had a negative experience in that department.
This said, it wasn't a horrible couple of days, but I'll be looking elsewhere for my next trip.

Los naranjos is a huge place where the jungle merge with the beach, divided by a river that can be crossed wslking when the tide is low, aligators are the puppies of the area and althought they look dangerous they only like to take a sunbath, they are afraid of humans, but dont test this, keep away from them and enjoy, the beach have different walking access, explore them all.

This was a mixed bag.
This was a mixed bag. On the upside, the restaurant was really fantastic and the view from the deck chairs, overlooking the beach, was just stunning. The room was clean and the restaurant staff were friendly. That said, the photographs of the rooms are misleading, as the rooms are actually really really dark, with just a few dim lamps providing a little bit of light. The “sea view” from the room that is pictured in the snaps is also not really anything. You can barely see the water. When we told the front desk staff that this was not what they were advertising, they said they would "be back to discuss" and then never showed up. Since it was only one night, we decided to just stick it out. Also, at this price, it seems like the hotel could have hot water in the showers. Oh, and our room was next to the kitchen so we were woken up early with noise from the staff, blender, etc.
It was very cool and adventurous stay at Cabana Barlovento. The rooms are open - without windows, directly above the Caribic sea, so you can really feel it and also hear it! The surroundings is really beautiful - there are around 5 hotel buildings in this complex, restaurant, bar and the pool. The beach was also very nice for relax although the waves are mostly big and the streams very strong, so be careful. The food was very tasty and the staff was very friendly. We can recommend this place.
The people were incredibly friendly and helpful. The single beds were very comfortable. The food was very good and was priced very economically. They accept credit cards. Also, you can simply charge your meals to your room, and pay when you check out of hotel. The called a taxi for us when we left. Lady called a pharmacy to deliver antibiotics when I caught a stomach bug in previous town and was not improving. The employees are amazing.
Words or photos can not adequately express the experience at Casa Toyrona Los Naranjos. Walking up the stairs to the pool area for the first time took our breath away, truly magical!
Dinner was awesome, and the people were great! Everyone was very helpful.
We only spent one night and left for Tayrona Park early the next day but we definitely plan on going back here.
It was the most impressive place we have ever been to!
Maria is one of the best hosts we have ever met. She is very kind, too informative and helpful. Her hotel is very clean, comfortable and the location is fantastic as it’s too close to the Tayrona National Park entrance. Thanks to her, she even planned one of our days around the park. Last but not least, the water is provided to the guests for free which is very rare in the entire country. Even this shows me how mindful Maria is.
The hotel was in a spectacular spot with wiews of sea and river. The surroundings of plants and nature and how the rooms blended in was stunning.
The food was great, the pool was lovely
Staff were helpful planning trips etc.
We had a suite, the room and bathroom were enormous. The balcony went around 2 sides of the room so beautiful views.
The bed was huge.
They provided all their natural bathroom products which was nice.
The staff and the food! We had thought about eating at a nearby restaurant one night but continued to choose our hotel- enough choices to be able to try different things. Maria and Joanna were so helpful as were others whose names I don’t remember. Other highlights: David the chef, the beautiful pool, air conditioning, and the finely landscaped grounds where we could birdwatch from our front deck.
Amazing beach just 5 min walk. The sea is ruff like everywhere on that coast, so one should be very careful while going into water.
The hotel garden is very nice. The owners are friendly. The food is good. It is a bit uphill, but you will be rewarded by great views
they charge extra 15% for the card (but are accepting it, because some hotels dont)
It was a great pleasure to stay in Casa Bambu! The complete staff is really nice, espacially the manager who helped us a lot to organize our trip in the Tayrona Park.
The hotel is a haven of peace where it great to rest by the pool or on the near by beach that was absolutly empty...
We would have loved to stay more and hope to come back soon!!!
Very nice place with beautiful views, close to the tayrona park and with access to a beach. The massage service is very nice to relax!
Everything is a little overpriced at the restaurant.
We had a misunderstanding about the taxi service but in the end the staff was kind and honest so I would recommend this hotel to others.
This Boutique Hotel shares common grounds with Maloka Barlovento Hotel and Casa Barlovento! access to the beach and Cliff bar is a fabulous experience! Location and staff were absolutely marvelous! A great and rewarding beautiful place to unwind after Hiking with my family the Tayrona lost City for 5 days.
The management and the service is absolutely phenomenal. We tested out many places in the area and this was by far our favorite. The food is the best we’ve had through all of Columbia. You can tell by the taste that it’s made with care. We will be coming back to stay with Villa Playa Tayrona soon!
this was our favourite hotel in Colombia. staff were so friendly and helpful (even packing sandwiches for our day trip to Tayrona) and food is absolutely delicious (and surprisingly affordable)
pool / beach area so clean and comfortable
would highly recommend staying here!
Manuel and Samantha were fantastic hosts and the hotel was absolutely perfect. The rooms are beautiful and you are looked after so well. I would highly recommend! There is also a great view of the river and the ocean from the pool and communal area.
Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. Only a couple of minutes drive from El Zaino and right around the corner from a fantastic private beach (Los Angeles, 12,000 COP entry). Nice small pool. We were happy with the meals in the restaurant.
Really lovely hotel. Beautiful setting near the beach but in the jungle so you have the best of both worlds. Good (albeit limited) food menu, all made fresh on request. Nice rooms, comfy beds, friendly staff
The food was absolutely amazing… every meal we ate was delicious… without fail. The private beach was nice, the pools were clean, the room was super comfortable, the staff took excellent care of us.
The food was delicious, the location (close to the Tayrona), the pool, and the staff was wonderful. Since it is a small hotel, it doesn’t get crowded which is great. Highly recommend this place.
Very friendly owners. Breakfast was good. The pool is amazing best view compared to other hotels in the area, room was clean. ( for dinner go across the road to casa Isabella)
great location and setting, I saw more wild animals in the hotel than at the park (monkeys, iguanas, caimans)! The food was really tasty! polite staff.
