Amazing cabin and the lobby itself etc all very nice. Comfortable bed. Woke up to snowfall on my birthday which made it extra magical. If in area again definitely would make sure I stay here again. Nice little touches in cabin also like chocolate and essential oils etc

We loved our room with the full kitchen and so we could have breakfast in and make dinner. Too easy! We loved the spa after a day on the slopes too! If we were too tired to cook there was so many options for dinner just within a few minutes walk.

Valet parking is free which is awesome!! We stayed in one of the remodelled rooms on the 4th floor which was really nice! Huge Fridge and niche kitchenette area. Can’t speak to some of the older rooms though.

We absolutely loved this place so so much, our room and staff were amazing and our location was perfect a walk to everything and bike hire is complimentary so we biked around but could walk to food, bars, coffee and beautiful Lake Tahoe. To whom it concerns: we came to the Big Pines late at night tired and travel worn from a long day.. We were greeted by Iftee and his wife. Can't say enough about how professional both he and his wife were and how quickly we were accommodated to our room! Our stay at your motel was very pleasant and we can't say enough for Iftee and his wife who were kind enough to bring extra towels, and answer all are questions. Thank you, we will be back. Wow- we loved this place! Amazing, friendly staff who were so warm and welcoming to us and our dog. The room decor was a cute and tasteful nod to retro with modern amenities. Very clean bathroom with great water pressure in the shower. There were lots of fun activities at the property with a great onsite restaurant. 100% would stay here again, we look forward to our next stay!

The hotel location is fantastic; the view of the lake and mountains and snow is so amazing. I loved my room view, and it's the peace of heaven. So please don't waste your time and book non lake view! Also, the food at their restaurant is delicious. I have already recommended the hotel to all the people I know!
