Nice small city worth taking a walk through. We spent just one night on the way through the country. Small detour to sleep here was very worth doing. Recommended!

The staff is very helpful. The parking is right there and free. The hotel is adjacent to the hip area for affluent young people and right across the street from all the restaurants shopping and banks. It's just 5 minutes to the major historical sites and museums. The room is large with a very comfortable but bed and nice size bathroom. The breakfast is good and although you can serve yourself there is attentive table service. It's as good as many a 5 star hotel in which we have stayed in France.

Ace Hôtel Le Mans is located in Saint-Saturnin, within 14 km of Le Mans Circuit and 15 km of Antarès. Location was great for overnight stay just off the motorway with restaurants nearby. The Portofino restaurant which is 2 mins walk did takeout and also allowed dogs, 10% discount with hotel voucher. Breakfast was a plentiful continental breakfast dogs allowed. Friendly helpful staff.

Situated next to Le Mans train station, a 9-minute walk from Culture and Convention Centre of Le Mans, Campanile Le Mans Centre - Gare in Le Mans features a shared lounge and bar. The staff was exceptional. There was something in our food we didn't like (basically, we ordered a dish that we don't like, but only realized too late), and the staff dealt with the situation in the best possible way. In short, they were so nice that the negative experience (our fault) became a really nice experience of interaction with them. No money pays people like this. Top, really!
