This was the 3rd time we stayed at Les Carmes, and it feels like coming home. It exceeded all of our expectations, as always! The lovely old building and its beautiful setting, the wonderful breakfast, the gardens, the swimming pool... but above and beyond all of this are the warm and welcoming people who are at the heart of Les Carmes. They make you feel right at home. We were sorry to have missed Pascal this year, but Minna's and Marion's presence certainly made up for it. The apero à 19h was a success thanks to them. Located between Frejus and Saint Raphael, L’oasis is just a 5-minute walk from the beach and Port de Plaissance de Frejus. Literally a beautiful "Oasis" away from the main promenade. The reception area is very inviting and lots of outdoor seats to chill out. We were greeted by a very friendly and helpful guy at reception. While our room was a bit on the small side, it had everything we could possibly need. We particularly loved the small touches in the room such as the coat and hat hanger. Unfortunately it rained for our 2 day stay but the guy on reception helped us order some food in as it was too wet to go out for dinner. Finally the value for money is excellent.

We appreciated very much the flexibility of the host to check us in after 11 pm and for having waited for hs to arrive. The area is very clean and the loocation very beautiful and quiet. The hotel itself has been beautifully renovated, room was big and very clean. There are plenty of options for breakfast. Staff was very nice and friendly. We checked in with our dog and we didn't have any issues.

Breakfast was a buffet with plenty to choose from. There is a large courtyard to sit, eat and relax. Excellent value.

Dream place, we stayed at the Eden Villa. The services of a Hotel and the privacy of your own house, right in front of the beach with a direct access to it and private terrace. From having breakfast delivered to your own terrace overlooking the sea, to swimming before sunset when the beach is already empty,...all those little pleasures you can dream of for a family summer holiday. The beach was never overcrowded because there's not too much parking in the area so we got the benefit of already waking up there and having a beach practically for yourself (at the core of the summer). And our boys would just walk out to the beach on their own.

The hotel is a wonderful conversion of the ancient convent. It is clear that mountains of money, but also tons of taste, were expended in achieving it. The result is sublime: like living in a beautiful château, except comfortable. As for the spa, it is superb, the best we’ve seen (and we’ve seen a few). It would impress a Roman emperor (if there were more slaves). We didn’t benefit from the huge outdoor pool or the terraces, since we were there in winter, but they would be a delight in warm weather. Someone has done a terrific job in assembling and training a rather young staff of charming and intelligent people. From the parking attendants to the receptionists, and from the waiters and waitresses to the exceptional sommelière (Ms. Pauline), there wasn't a one that we wouldn’t happily adopt and take home with us. The buffet breakfast: simply the best (really). The hotel has its own full-time boulanger, as well as a pastry chef. Okay, full disclosure: the coffee could be better. There is (of course) a gourmet restaurant (we can all imagine what that’s like), as well as a “bistro" on the premises. (Fortunately, since the local village doesn’t offer much at all.) The bistro serves mainly fanciful haute cuisine; we would have preferred that it be more authentically bistro-like, with some classic bistro-type food (steaks, daubes, foie gras, magret, confit de canard…yes, maybe even french fries!). It goes to show: even paradise can stand to be tweaked a bit.

One of the most memorable stays I've had any where in the world. Beautiful scenic location, delicious food all locally sourced or grown from the land, and everyone was lovely and friendly. The cooking class was lots of fun and a great introduction to the Michelin star restaurant. The pool is a great way to cool down after exploring. Beautiful relaxing stay. I highly recommend.

We came on our honeymoon. We had the most magical week. The scenery is breathtaking, the staff are a delight and the local town is easily and quickly accessible and has great restaurants and bars. I cannot recommend the hotel highly enough.
