Playing with the monkeys all day, walking through the jungle, eating all sorts of fruits. It's a wonderful place for experiencing the Amazon. I loved my stay there and the owners are so friendly and welcoming. I'd definitely come back!

We felt very comfortable. The owners and the staff were very friendly, nice and helpful. Thank you very much for everything! The hotel is a bit outside the centre. So you have to walk a bit or take a tuk-tuk. That was no problem for us.

The location is just fantastic - insanely beautiful scenery and a lot of areas, where you can sit down, relax and enjoy yourself and your surroundings. The place is not very sound-proof, but somehow, I had the best sleep I've had in years. The food was very good. Don't expect a 5 course gourmet meal - it's the Amazon jungle. There isn't a multitude of options, but everything you get, is very tasty. The beer is ice-cold. Most importantly, the staff is warm, welcoming and extremely helpful. From booking the boat tickets to arranging different tours around the area, everything went without a hickup. - all that despite us speaking very little Spanish and the staff not speaking much English. Carmelo - thank you for being such a great host and making us feel welcome during the entire stay! (apologies for thinking, that you were Carlos for the first couple of days)

Situated in Leticia, 2.9 km from Tabatinga, Hostal La Esperanza features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi throughout the property. All rooms have a TV with cable channels. Our stay was super nice! The family that owns the hotel are very friendly & welcoming and the rooms are very comfortable & clean. There was a fan and also AC which we could use in the evenings which made everything much easier as it's very hot and humid in Leticia. The room is equipped with everything you may need and very well taken care of. There was housekeeping, which was super helpful, as it rains a lot and it gets muddy so it's easy to get everything a bit dirty. We were very happy with our stay and appreciated the nice atmosphere and welcoming attitude. There is a shop directly by the hotel and the centre is like a 20 minute walk away, but it's a nice walk and not too difficult. The hotel is super close to the airport, which is very practical, as you can just walk directly when you arrive, and it's not noisy. We absolutely recommend it!

Offering an outdoor swimming pool and table tennis, Cabañas Yakuruna is located only 6 km from Amazonas River. Free WiFi access is available. They gave a nice game room withbillard and table tennis, a relaxing pool where you can enjoy the delicious drinks fromtheir cocktail bar (highly recommend Caipirina with Maracuja). The staff is very friendly and ready to help - even if your Spanish is poor.

The place is super clean and quiet! Has everything you need :) Definitely will stay again when I make it to Amazon next time :)

It was a great room and nice having air conditioner but there wasn’t a single window and felt like I was in a prison cell a bit.

Set in a charming ecological lodge surrounded by a lush garden, Hotel Lomas del Paiyü offers rooms with fans in Puerto Nariño Amazonas. The sense of nature all around, the proximity to all that matters in Puerto Nariño, the tranquility at night, and I especially liked the hammock in the porch. That was an unexpected plus!
