We also enjoyed spending a good chunk of time on the balcony. Reatsurant Krone across the street is working in tandem with the Lodge. They serve good food, also some vegetarian dishes. All in all a great place!

The hosts were extremely thoughtful and attentive. The whole place exudes warmth and welcome at a slower pace. Very attentive to our dietary needs (gluten free/celiac) and five star food. Quiet room with comfortable bed. Great hiking right out the door. Our favorite stay of a nearly three week European excursion!

The restaurants (Zollstube in particular!!), the friendly and helpful staff, the views, the pools/spas…truly the height of luxury. Also, for such an expansive property, full of guests, we never had to wait long for an elevator…it’s the little things!
