The interior is very well arranged, cozy, not just basic like other properties for rent. They meet us with presents: a bottle of wine, cookies, traditional cake, beer and water, fruits, milk and cereals!!!! It melt my heart!❤️ No one has met us before like this! The view is breathtaking! Ocean, nature! I liked the location. Yes, it’s in the north and it’s colder but it’s not so crowded and more quiet region. If you rent a car, it shouldn’t bother you! There was all necessary in the kitchen - ALL. There are even towels for beach. There is really fonic isolation, when you close the window, the noise from the ocean is considerably reduced! Only one thing that I can say it bothered:the bed creaks loudly when you are more active! 😅

Situated in Machico, 200 metres from Sao Roque Beach, Modern & Recycled Guest House features views of the city. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a terrace. The hostel also features free WiFi as well as a paid airport shuttle service. Everything was superb! The location is near the beach, with plenty of nive restaurants nearby. The rooms were big and full of natural light. The common space was well organized, and equipped.

With a 24-hour front desk service, this hostel provides a shuttle service; bicycle rental and can arrange activities like hiking, cycling, diving and various water sports. The town of Machico with its golden beach is 10 km away and Madeira International Airport is a 15-minute drive. I liked pretty much everything - clean room, great location, great downstairs lobby, even better upstairs roof area with bbq, lounge chairs. It really is an amazing property, very convenient to check-in and check put with key box, super convenient to stay when exploring the north-east of Madeira. We don’t surf, but we met other surfers that came to Madeira Surf Camp and they loved it.

Guests that wish to have more privacy may stay in double or twin rooms. Loved this place, very homely feel right in the heart of Funchal. The ladies who run the place were lovely and very helpful. Felt right at home as a 23 year old solo traveller. Definitely will return in the future.

Dorm rooms have lockers, individual reading lights and access to shared bathroom facilities. Extra bed is necessary to request to the Hostel. The staff was absolutely fantastic and helped me so much, I couldn’t have had a better experience because of them.
