I’m really glad I found this stay during my time in Palermo! The bedrooms have plenty of space and places to leave your things. The beds themselves are comfortable and the view from the window was nice. The bathrooms are always clean and there was always hot water in the showers. I did laundry during my stay for only €3. The location is very central so it was easy to come and go, as well as make day trips from the bus/train station (less than a 10-minute walk). Some nights the staff would invite everyone to snack and enjoy wine together. It’s a small place with not so many guests, so it made the feeling more like a family gathering. I found it easy to make friends while staying here as everyone was solo traveling. The staff was friendly and they helped teach me a little Italian and made suggestions for what to visit. I really recommend! I was going to only stay in Palermo for 3 nights, but it turned into 8 nights since I loved the city so much and the hostel was so affordable and convenient.

I got food poisoning the last day and threw up many times... The overnight woman took good care of me and tried to warm me up on the sofa because I couldn't walk to the bed upstairs. I felt much better in the morning and caught up on the flight home. Thank you!
