Yes it is basic, yes you have a cold shower, yes you share the bathroom but you cannot beat the location.

I can’t begin to say how nice and accommodating the staff is. By the way breakfast is awesome and made fresh daily.

Life is Good Cartagena Hostel has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Cartagena de Indias. The property is close to Cartagena's Walls, Palace of the Inquisition and Bolivar Park. This is an excellent hostel. It's location is perfect for the old town, with all key sights within walking distance. The hostel itself is very comfortable and this is made more so by the staff who are always cheerful and happy to help. the breakfast provided is of a high standard and the roof terrace with jacuzzi makes even a day with some downtime at the hostel a pleasant one. I highly recommend a stay here.

The location was a very easy walking distance to all sites in the old city. The room was simple but comfortable and very clean. What sets this place apart is the tremendous service by the owner, David. David was incredibly friendly and helpful with whatever arrangements I needed.

The beds are super comfortable, the facilities are clean, bathrooms feel very luxurious. The rooftop and the pizza are amazing. The location is really great when you plan to go on boat trips, because it’s super close to where the boats leave. I really like the location in general.

Situated conveniently in Cartagena de Indias, The Clock Hostel & Suites offers air-conditioned rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a shared lounge. One of the best rooms I've ever been. Literaly everybody have their own little room inside the huge dorm, really nice organized. There are 3,4 big bathrooms in dorm with big showers. Very clean and good AC. Location is excellent, everything is walking distance.
