4U Hostel is overall the best hostel I've stayed in. In a beautifully restored classic building in the heart of Granada's old quarter. A few minutes walk from the Alhambra. Comfortable, impeccably clean, great value, bar and restaurant on site. Staff are super friendly and helpful. I am on a bikepacking trip, and Ana and Esperanza assisted with logistics. Location: right in the city centre, next door to all the tea houses and souvenir shop street. Activities: there seemed to be quite a few tours organized by the hostel, and not just in the city, but also in the mountains. Facilities: it was very clean in the kitchen and in the toilets all the time. Never a problem to find an unoccupied bathroom facility. Note: 5 euros deposit for a room key is needed in cash, returned during check out.
