Thanks for the owner, Laura. The train service stopped due to land slide and we faced difficulty in reaching and leaving Varenna. Difficult to catch a taxi to leave Varenna to Lecco for onward train to Milano. Laura was kind enough to order a taxi for us. Clean and quiet room. Excellently located very close to the pier - good when raining.

We were so thrilled to have found this accommodation quite last minute. It is close to the ferry and train station, in a lovely clean building. The rooms were spacious, and the beds were comfortable. At the end of a long busy day, the jetted tub and sauna were also a nice treat. Enrico and Nadia were so easy to communicate with and such a lovely couple! We would not hesitate to recommend this property at all.

Stunning terrace. We love it. Location right in the centre next to the marvelous square. The breakfast at Bistro in the square nextdoor had an amazing atmosphere. The view on the church. The shared barhroom didn't mind us. It was okay. Don't worry. We would definitelly like to come back again!

The view was just WOW, we could see the Bellagio peninsula. The house was quiet and away from all the Lake Como tourist areas which was very peaceful. The house was well equiped, I.e. kitchen utensils etc. Nicole was a great host and was very helpful in providing instructions and recommendations around the area. Everything provided by Tiziano, including a bottle of bubbles! It felt like home, separate bedroom, good sized lounge and kitchen area, fantastic shower and a washing machine. We highly recommend.

We absolute loved the place and the area. Was easy to find and there was parking available. You do need to pay for it during day hours. This was not a problem for us as we were aware that the property does not have parking and we were lucky to get to park close by and walk/ferry everywhere. Varenna is a great little town and we can highly recommend visiting and staying at the Villa Toretta. Thanks for making our stay great!!!JacobusYoung couple
