Eveyln and Charles were wonderful nothing was too much trouble for them they were very welcoming. A lovely room, comfortable bed, great breakfast.Convenient to bus stops.Would highly recommend a stay at Arkaig House.

The room was competently clean, the bed was super comfortable. I also liked very much the little kind touches here and there across the room. The house owners are doing their best to meet your expectations and needs starting when you enter the building. They are very friendly and helpful. Big plus, the breakfast was excellent too!

The stay at Lochnagar was beyond my expectations (which were high after reading many reviews). The place is charming, very tidy, clean, quiet and comfortable. Location was also very convenient for me - on a quiet street, but 5-10 minutes from anywhere (city center, bust station, train station, Union Square mall). In addition, Neil, the host was especially kind and highly responsive, reaching out before my arrival and during my stay.

The room was spacious, clean, and cozy. There was a kettle, a small fridge, plates, mugs, and even a UK plug adapter in the room! The location is great. 5-10 mins walk to the main street, 5 mins walk to the Duthie park. Hannah was a lovely host, super friendly and lovely! Highly recommend, and would definitely stay again!

Beautiful home and lovely part of town. Clean, quiet, and free parking. Very friendly owners provided a great breakfast and recommended nearby places to eat and visit. Great recommendation on a tourist attraction in Edinburgh, which was our next stop.

Greeted with a smile, communication was tip top and was made to feel very welcome. Room (and everything else) was lovely, bed very comfy and clean plus a yummy breakfast. House is in a good spot near Union Square, walked to work at the Royal Infirmary each morning which was nice too. Can't fault anything, very happy and would go back if get the chance.

After check-in was shown facilities and given keys for personal use whilst at the Guest House. Excellent facilities through out. Great value for money rate which includes breakfast. Selection of Cereals and fruit plus full hot breakfast. On Main Road a little away from city centre - about 15/20 minutes walk. Quiet location. Aberdeen is city full of history, culture and architecture. Would highly recommend a visit to the city and the Alba Guest House.

The little shared kitchen is fully equippend, incl. fresh fruit and hot water tap. Just really thought through what guests might want or need which really makes a difference after a long day of exploring.
