Shout out to the staff, especially the Romanian staff: exceptionally friendly and helpful. Very comfortable room, the facilities in general are top notch; the spa is a great way to relax after wandering around the city. The location is good - walking distance from the centre, and easy to access from the airport. Couldn't recommend this hotel more!

Only 300 metres from Santa Maria Novella Station in central Florence, Hotel Bencidormi offers free Wi-Fi and rooms with self-adjusting air conditioning. Free luggage storage facilities are available. Location was perfect, literally 5 minutes walk from train station. Owner is super friendly as well and he was always able to accommodate our request. Highly recommend!

The Market Urban Hotel is ideally located 200 metres from Santa Maria Novella Train Station and 450 metres from the Fortezza Da Basso Exhibition Centre. Florence Cathedral is a 10-minute stroll away. Giovanni at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are a bit small (but it’s this way for most big cities) but clean and new. The hotel is near to the central market and a nice stroll to the duomo also near from train station so relatively easy to walk.

Boasting an ideal location in Florence city centre, Hotel Nella is a 3-minute walk from Santa Maria Novella Train Station and from the Fortezza da Basso Congress Centre. First of all the location is great: it's located along a street lined with other hotels that is around a 5 mins walk from Santa Maria Novella; it's near good places to eat and various places of interests (Florence is a very walkable city after all); and there are plenty of facilities like laundromats and supermarkets nearby. The room was clean and comfy, and we appreciated the provision of drinks (coffee and tea) and cutlery in the common area. But above all what made this accommodation stand out would have to be the warmth of Alejandra and Roberto (didn't quite catch his name, hope it's right!). They were very friendly and welcoming, even before our stay when we had a few questions and through our strange little requests during our stay. Our spectacular visit to Florence was definitely made even better because of them and our stay here.
