This hotel was pefect, excellent room with very comfortable beds. Lovely receptionist who took time to suggest what to do in the city for one evening, which appeared to be very helpfull.

Aitor went out of his way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. We had several incredible conversations with Aitor about our travels, living abroad, and being global citizens. Aitor secured reservations for us at Basoa, a 5 minute walk from the hotel, and we had an exceptional dinner. We also dined in one evening at Media Argia and throughly enjoyed the meal.

Easy to get to considering all of the one-way streets but good location a short walk across the river to the old town and most of the main attractions, pintxo bars, restaurants, shops, and the Basque museum. Convenient market across the street and a lot of cafes in the surrounding neighborhood of Gros. Free coffee and sodas in the lounge all afternoon. We went out for breakfast because we wanted to go to the highly-recommended-and-well-worth-it chocolate and churros place in the old town--Churreria Sant Lucia.
