Lake George is nice on and off season.
Lake George is nice on and off season. During off seasons it may be a bit harder to entertain the kids. After memorial day everything opens for fun from the little smaller arcades and rides to the beaches and Six flags/Water Park. The water park indoors at 6 flags is open off seaso . On season and off season usually are on the higher side of pricing. Very clean area, beautiful scenery with plenty to do and see so the money is worth it. If you're a fan of hot dogs, street corn and tacos with a nice cold lemonade (680 flavor options i believe) Check out the lemonade stand a few buildings over from the fort! would love to camp or rent a cabin for the fourth but could only imagine the demand!

Lake George is a beautiful family friendly place to visit.
Lake George is a beautiful family friendly place to visit. There are lots of stores and restaurants to choose from, you will not be disappointed! Your right near the Great Escape Amusement Park which open until the end of the evening then closed for the winter months. There are plenty of stores, shops and sites to see and trails to walk, you will never be bored nor would your children if you are bring them along with you.

I loved the many restaurants.
I loved the many restaurants. Many did not update their websites to say they were closed. Even with less people parking was hard to find . Be prepared for a lot of walking . Happy that Giuseppe delivered. Biscotti brothers had an awesome menu and a parking lot.

A beautiful area and town. The lake is absolutely beautiful. There are many dining options in town.
The boat trip on the Mohican is a must-do. The 2-1/2 hour trip is very relaxing and informative.
This property while a little outdated was clean, comfortable , reasonable and a great stay. We took our Granddaughter to Lake George for 5 nights and stayed here. We had a great trip. The rooms were cleaned every day. We went in both pools which were clean and comfortable. We ate breakfast twice at the cafe on the property which was delicious and attended the Polynesian dinner show which was entertaining and delicious. Our Granddaughter loved getting to go on stage and learn the dance. Would stay here again.
The Howard Johnson By Wyndham at Lake George has an impeccable location; simply step out of your room, get to the street, walk 50 or so feet, and you're in the center of Lake George! The room was clean and well placed, and overall quiet.
In the morning, the hotel lobby served granola bars with juices and coffee, which I took part of before heading to one of the few excellent breakfast restaurants literally in walking-distance of this hotel. All this for the low price was more than I could've asked for.
I want to express my gratitude to the manager "sonny" who went above and beyond when a booking site overbooked this hotel. He took the time to call me back when a cancelation came in and booked room. We would have had to sleep in car if he hadn't taken the time to call even after I was quite angry and abrupt with him.. Best experience I had ever and will always look to book this chain for now on. Thank you Sonny for caring.
This is our 5th time staying here. Centrally located near Outlets. The hotel staff was great especially Mike. Our room was great. The pool and hot tub was awesome. The breakfest was good too. Ideal location for anyone wanting shopping at outlets and 5 minute drive to downtown Lake George. Very close to Six Flags Great Escape also. Great deal also.
It was the best hotel we have in lake george for the price and it's location along the lake, can't beat that. The owner was so friendly and nice. He make it sure we have everything we need. They have plenty of grill for BBQ. Definitely coming back to this hotel and highly recommend it.
Little paradise next to Lake George! We had a great time at The Meadows, the perfect place for a family-friendly stay. The cherry on the came are the amazing hosts, Felix and Diana were always making sure we were having a great stay! We’ll be back next time we are in Lake George!
Perfect family getaway at Lake George.... Spectacular Mountain view and Lake view on the the beach premises ....
Pool was perfect for family and children ...... Fire pits in the evenings brought a warm relaxing atmosphere ....
Great location at Lake George. Not quite walking distance to the main beach, but still easy to get around.
Rooms were very clean, it was obvious the property was well taken care of.
Beds were very comfortable.
It was great. Room was very spacious, The Lake view was beautiful and location right on the main drag of Lake George, made it so easy to go get a drink, or grab some food and walk along the lake!
The hotel was well maintained, with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was very good, as was the outdoor pool, and the location was very convenient to all Lake George attractions.
The location is great. There is a restaurant next door that we walked to. This hotel is excellent value for the money. The bed was comfortable and I’m picky!
