The host was very nice, we had good conversations, he explained me how to take the train to bilbao Center and how to use Google maps for finding Busses.

The the gym and leisure centre was excellent. Problem for me was it cost 20 euro each time to use which put 120 euro extra on the cost of my room . Which was not cheap in first place. It was the same price as hotel in the centre of city. The hotel was not wort the price.

I had breakfast each morning which was fine.
The hotel (once I had found it!) was very handily located for the ferry port and had a very useful garage (given the appaling parking difficulty in the locality!). I was also able to keep my bike in the garage.
