The place gives a sense of luxus, the garden is green and lush and well kept. The apartment is spacious for 4 people - with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, kitchen, dining area and living room. Even a separate room for washing machine and tumble dryer. By the dining table, there were double glass doors to the balcony, which were nice to have open in the evening, when eating in. The windows have outside blinders, which keeps the temparature inside down, and gives a good night sleep! Big plus! The balcony is spacious, we even had an extra roof area we could access via the balcony. Cleaning every day, new towels every day. The location is very nice, quiet, but you need a car to get around. There is a parking garage for a little extra cost, and was very nice to use. Elevator from the parking garage directly up to the apartments.

Room was perfect except it had no tea or coffee facilities. We Irish love our cup if tea. It's super close to the airport but that makes it a bit noisy .

Everything definitely 4 star room was large and had all we needed , we had half bord, the buffet breakfast was great and evening meal was superb with great food and service. In fact all the staff were very helpful. Would thoroughly recommend.

Hotel Areca offers a free spa with pool. It is 5 minutes’ drive from Alicante Airport and 8.5 km from the beach. Alicante city centre is 20 minutes’ drive from the hotel.

Close to airport for a very early morning flight. Very helpful in arranging a taxi at 0615 which was on time and very reasonably priced.
