Decor indeed made the apartment true to the description. We would have stayed longer if we had the time. It felt like a home away from home with a lovely garden outside. Though we didn't cook, there is a fully equipped kitchen with large supermarket nearby. We enjoyed the spacious bathroom with spa shower. There is an operable washing machine, which was needed over my month-long journey through southern Europe. I had a car so it was easy to drive downtown for dinner.

The apartment is very big and nice

Comfortable beds, lovely bathroom

15 minutes by car from the airport and close to the highway
I recommend this wonderful place
The hotel is great for solo travellers like me who were on the way up north coming from the south. It is perfectly located and just a few minutes drive from the highway. I checked in very late in the evening and checked out very early in the morning. Reception is 24h and I even got a coffee in the morning way before breakfast time started. All good about the place, rooms are clean and spacious, everything was smooth and easy! Highly recommended for business travellers!
Clean hotel with all the essentials. Very comfortable memory foam pillows. Late night check in available. Friendly, helpful staff. Shower works well with good pressure (but see below, lacked curtain!) Furniture a bit old but functional. Overall a decent place to stay as long as one does not expect luxury. Breakfast was included and wasn't bad. Location was great for what I had to do, free parking available onsite a good bonus.
The location is great, even it's not in the center of Bologna but near to the bus and train station. Restaurant down stair of the hotel is very good. Trees on the yard and carpark give peaceful mind. The community around the hotel is very friendly. Staffs are gentle and helpful. Bars, bakeries, ice-cream shops, pharmacy and supermarket and a beautiful park are in the walking distance.
It does the job if you need a place to sleep for couple night. If you can find a room for 50-60 euro, then go for it. I wouldn’t pay more than that. The hotel is very old, but the rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable and the shower was fine. Also, the location is ok with easy access to the city centre of Bologna and the Unipol Arena. The
Stunningly beautiful accommodations. Floors and walls in marble. Modern smart home with lots of space. In a lovely residential area that is within walking distance to the river, a park with bar, food and even music and walking trails. The town has a good supermarket. And the train stops in town for easy access to Bologna. good wifi and tv.
The hotel is perfectly situated close to the town centre. The staff were very helpful and informative. My Italian language is very poor and they communicated with me perfectly.
My room was nice and large. Very clean and comfortable.
The breakfast was ideal, with the option to return for more if I so needed.
Bravo x
The Boutique hotel Calzavecchio is in a very convenient location to stop by from a long trip from Rome to the north of Italy. We stopped there twice, as the hotel offered everything you need for a good stay, including a good breakfast.
Breakfast was a very generous offering of a variety of items. I was also able to get a handmade pizza for dinner onw night that was fantastic! Lovely, peaceful location just outside Bologna.
it was clean enough and roomy. Even though we did not use it, there was a kitchenette. AC worked well, there were 2 tv. A 15 minutes walk to catch a train to Bologna central station.
Free parking just in front of the hotel, local bus station not far away, helpful staff, breakfast buffet, a tasty dinner ... everything met or even exceeded our expectations.
The staff waited up until 2am, as our flight was delayed. For a quick stop off, the hotel was totally fine. Good location for travelling - close to airport and train station.
Location is close to the Unipol Arena and one can walk there and arrive in about 10 minutes. There is a small kitchenette that provides you with certain options for cooking.
