The evening Menu was very good, but unlikely to have been cooked fresh. Items were not available from the Menu. Wine list was reasonable, though overpriced.

Beautiful period house set in stunning grounds. Staff were so chatty, polite and helpful. Breakfast was cooked to order and was very good.
The village is quaint, but the hospitality ends there.
The village is quaint, but the hospitality ends there. There is a resentment towards outsiders and visitors.
The Church Clock Chimes and Bells, I would have though would stop at a reasonable hour, 11pm? But no, they rang all night, marking every 15minutes and the Hour. WEAR SLEEPING EAR PLUGS!

Room didn’t reflect the internets description.
Room didn’t reflect the internets description. Bed although comfortable wasn’t presented in a professional manner if I guessed - prepared by a teenager in a rush. No where to sit. Lights were just bulbs exposed. Bathroom poor - looked grubby & in need of a good clean - broken tiles. I will not be staying there again.

Great B and B near Ampthill. The room is really stylishly decorated and very comfy and clean. Nespresso coffee machine and delicious home made biscuits really added to it. Really friendly and cheerful staff and delicious breakfast. Excellent value for money too and it’s dog friendly.
Lovely meal on arrival and staff were helpful and friendly. On route to Silverstone racing circuit, good stopping point. Pretty village of Houghton Conquest and had a walk around the pretty town on Ampthill the day before driving up to Silverstone.
The hotel room was beautiful, it was in a quiet little village and was decorated lovely. We stayed in room one. They let us check in early and had vegan options for dinner, breakfast and lunch. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful
The location is in the small village of Houghton Conquest, by the church and is an attractive place to stay. The rooms look like individual cottages at the side of the inn. The rooms are well appointed with modern decor and a comfy bed.
We arrived late but were very well looked after by the staff. The rooms were nice and we particularly liked the spacious shower.
Larger TV than in a usual hotel room. Machine to make fresh coffee.
Room was very well equipped and similar to a good hotel. Food was excellent - portion size and quality. I have the seafood linguine and it was delicious.
