It was full of loved pieces of the owner all tastefully placed through out adding to the exceptional feeling of being somewhere special. Our room was lovely with views of the garden and surrounding countryside. Beautiful bed linens, crisp new towels, everything was perfect! Add to this a host Manuel who is the kindest and most caring we have experienced in our travels. The breakfast reflects this with lots of homemade products to sample. We stayed an extra night and wished we could’ve stayed longer. We have promised to return and really hope we can.

Mar was an excellent host who catered for our every whim, couldn't do enough for us. Casa Rural Selmo is a very peaceful place with fantastic rustic decor. We could not fault anything.

If you have a car with you, it is a great place to stay. Without a car would be tricky... The room was comfortable, had also a small table where I could work on my laptop. Also good water both from the tap and from the stream next to the building.

Really comfy bed great location awesome TV. Good location opposite train station. Room was so nice o wish we'd stayed longer! The lady who checked us in was so nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend for a stay in Oviedo. Laundrette down the road.

The place is literally a piece of heaven in the heart of the Asturian mountains. The room are tidy, clean, and beautiful, with a wonderful view of the valley. They also offer dinner at the hotel which was as delicious as it wasn't expansive. Bearkfast is included and very delicious too. The staff is kind and helpful (the owner even helped us organising our trekking routes as he knows the area very very well). Lastly, as a very welcomed plus, they speak English, Italian and Spanish fluently (which made communication way easier for us non-spanish speakers). Again: everything was perfect and above expectations.

Nastanitev H.Albar Mieres se nahaja v mestu Mieres, 19 km od znamenitosti Oviedo Town Hall in 19 km od znamenitosti Fontán Square. We were walking the Camino del Salvador, so this was the place we stayed after walking 5 days over the mountains. It was exceptional, huge room, breakfast nook with food, coffee and sweets. There was fresh bread on our doorknob in the morning for breakfast- have never had that service anywhere else. Host was very kind and helpful. Highly recommended, worth the cost and much better than staying in student housing since albergue is closed.

Very clean room, gathering space, and dining area. Nice outside courtyard to gather. Staff was very friendly and able to converse in some English. Good breakfast. Excellent shower pressure and warming rack to help dry clothes. Walking distance to the train stop in Camango.
