Within walking distance of Kloten railway station (don't mix up on return journeys with the one called Kloten Balsberg!) but you can actually walk from the hotel to the airport. Quite a lot of us did that, you start by crossing the street from the entrance towards the walking path which is signposted which is just diagonally across the street. It would be easier to catch a cab from the airport the first time or at night (my driver preferred cash so it's handy to have some). Lots of bus stops even closer than Kloten but I personally didn't use those

The hotel is not very close to the centre but we already knew this. Its about 30' away, but the tram is right outside the hotel. The room and hotel was clean. I saw in the other comments about the shower doing a mess with the water but if you are carefull, everything is fine! The staff was very kind and helpful.
