It’s a beautiful town with a lovely port, castle and old town. Easily walkable. Excellent good scene - so much choice and things got all budgets.
Parking can be difficult on the town side but there is plenty by the ferry terminal.
There are plenty of walks from the town - to the mountains and by the coast.
Tram/train to Benidorm and beyond which is a good day out

Denia is a fantastic place to stay.
Denia is a fantastic place to stay. It has everything the discerning traveller needs from fine dining to takeaway sandwiches. It is very Spanish and you will find a lot of Spanish holiday makers there in the summer months but it never seems too busy. There is plenty to see and do and the castle is worth a visit. The Jamaica Inn is a must see a bar that is over 400 years old and Fuegos is a fantastic steak house! The beaches are long and clean and the sea in September is like walking into a luke warm bath. There is so much to see and make time for a visit to the old town lots of restaurants to enjoy!

We like Denia, the Marina's, the Port, the Old Town, the town itself,
We lived there for so many years.
Nowhere is the same since the Pandemic, It left a certain sadness everywhere, on the streets, in restaurents & bars, and indeed all over our world!

Cheerful and kind receptionists. I was upgraded to superior room, and helped with my luggage to the first floor, as there isn't an elevator. The hotel is located on a pedestrian best street of the Old Town for restaurants and cafes, and night life. Street sounds of people having fun drifted up, but not traffic nose. I loved it. I thoroughly recommend this quaint hotel. I was fortunate enough to have found nearby parking. The room wifi was good with a strong signal. I also liked the yellow curtains and matching bedcovers!
I'm going to be honest. I loved the hotel, but it was the wrong choice for my type of visit. I booked the hotel because I needed a good place to work. Little did I know is that the restaurant next to the hotel is a bit too much fun ( and loud )
The staff is super friendly and understanding and the owner is clearly very involved in every day things. Everything is well maintained and there's a great eye for detail. I will definitely book again when I don't have to work!
All staff were excellent, fabulous views, comfy bed, breakfast was buffet style with both cold and hot selections (excellent bread).
The hotel was busy and were unable to accommodate my request for a large double bed, so they had to give us a room with 2 singles pushed together. We were disappointed as we were celebrating our anniversary, but we were delighted to find a chilled bottle of cava waiting for us on our return to our room. Thank you!
The apartment was small as it was on pictures, but had all you needed and more than you think it would have. Being traveling in Spain for three months and this was the best bed in the whole journey and it was a sofabed! Rosa is full of heart and you can not get better hostess! She even brought me breakfast and there was so much that I was still eating it at the evening! The sun was shining on the balcony for the almost all day.
easy check-in and check-out
nice parking garage
super clean
comfy bed
good shower
super nice and helpful host
convenient location, within walking distance to the old town, Castell de Dénia, Mercado, shopping street, and restaurants.
The washing machine is very nice, it has a drying function.
There is a dishwasher in the kitchen, which is really nice.
We like a lot of things about this place.
All good, restaurant part of the hotel, perfect. Parking a bit difficult. Right opposite the beach. The best part was breakfast was till 11, very civilised, no rushing to make a 10 am deadline for breakfast when you are on holiday. Plus they had English speaking tv, very rare these days in hotels in Spain. The full English breakfast was incredible as was the coffee!
Very pretty small hotel, lovely friendly staff, with a lovely pool and outside space. It is 500 metres walk from Les Rotes coast which is great for snorkeling and swimming. Some decent restaurants nearby, and about a half an hour walk to Denia marina which has lots of nice restaurants. Hotel has a couple of basic bycicles which guests can use for free.
the staff were excellent nothing was too much trouble the food was the best I’ve had in Denia the rooms were very comfortable and clean. the hotel was well situated for the centre of Denia just a short walk, and right on a very uncrowned beach. I would highly recommend this hotel and will certainly re-book in the future.
Great for an overnight on my journey to the south of Spain - I liked having a well-kitted out kitchen to cook my own food, being near the sea (unfortunately it was a little too cold to swim) and the old town, having a balcony and extra time before check-out, with helpful staff, so everything was very relaxed.
the photos of the hotel do not do it justice it’s is crazy nicer than they portray , it’s very clean the staff cannot do enough for you , breakfast was excellent, rooms very comfortable, right next to the beach 20 minute walk into the centre of denia , fantastic stay will definitely be back.
Great place to stay with kid. Pool is amazing , helps to stay cool in hot July weather. Only 5 min drive from city center Denia which offers wide range of restraints. Big grossery shop and place to eat in only 2 min away drive.
We loved our stay. Will be back another time!
This is our third visit to Palau Verd, so we knew what to expect, and were not disappointed. It's become our "second home" when we want to have a small beach holiday in Denia. Great value, comfortable, great breakfast. Nothing to complain.
The place was easy to find, close to the beach and an easy walk to the marina and more shops. The staff were very friendly. The hotel was very interesting... loads of pictures, paintings and memorabilia. Plenty of space for parking.
Super hotel- just nextc to the beach. 5 km from Denia.
Great breakfast and sea view restaurant
Warm and nice welcome ! Each guests have small sun chair and umbrella for the beach available
The hotel is absolutely beautiful, a real hidden gem in the old town of Denia. Everywhere you look there are creative details and the interior patio is stunning
Everyone was very attentive and helpful specially Vero. What a way to make you feel at home. The hotel was very close to the beach. And also the cleanest.
