A hidden gem nearby is Villajoyosa, where you can enjoy serene beaches with crystal-clear blue waters and soft sands. The area boasts delightful restaurants and a chance to stroll along beaches where fish swim right up to your ankles, offering a more traditional Spanish feel. For those wanting to explore more, the heart of Benidorm, or 'new Benidorm', provides a lovely 30-40 minute walk to the charming old town. This scenic route is lined with a mix of upscale dining options and more typical lively Benidorm establishments... Despite preconceptions, the city was notably cleaner and less rowdy than anticipated. If you don't like the idea of the 'strip' at night then you can easily avoid it, plenty other places to go for a drink and food. Lots of great shopping whatever your budget. Benidorm is great for an affordable holiday. Old town is buzzing with people, shops, bars & resturants. Its far enough away from the 'party strip' whilts still have low key bars. Beach & roads surrounding were amazingly clean. Cabs are cheap, drink & food are cheap. Water park is awesome and only a 10 euro cab ride. People are really nice. You can also avoid the Stag & Hen groups quite easliy.

We didn't get to spend much time exploring but we thought the city of Benidorm was really fun. There were a lot of people out enjoying the restaurants and nightlife. The size of the city being right on the beach with the mountains in the background was very cool and created a real cinematic backdrop. The midcentury modern vibe was lovely. Wish we could have spent time relaxing at the beach but we weren't able to this trip.

I live in Benidorm but has an issue with my apartment and he gave me the best room in the hours which on the 4th floor and on the corner and I think it’s 402. they are the dearer rooms but very nice and huge! immaculate and brand new interiors to the hotel, it’s been refurbished or rebuilt extremely recently. right in the heart of old town, cannot be more central, and the bed was so comfortable!

The option to have a late check at a cost of €25 was really good as my flight from Alicante was in the evening. It's the second time I stayed at the hotel this year, and I enjoyed both stays and will stay there again on future visits to Benidorm.

The apartments are so new and beautiful with everything you need, including a washing machine. Staff was superb and accommodating. Wi-fi very good. Pool area/terrace super cool. Hotel placed in the old town which is a very nice area. Lots of restaurants, bars and shops at your doorstep and a very short walk to the all the beaches in Benidorm.
