The property was fantastic, for a 1* hotel it should be at least 3*. The rooms were clean and beds comfy. The room had everything you would need for a short stay in Venice. The location is great as it's close to the bus station and train station for the airport. Plenty of fine dining restaurants around the area and the gift shops are slightly cheaper here than closer to san Marco. There's even a spar just around the corner should you want to buy snacks and drinks for the room. Yes it's good 30 mins walk to san marco but that's what Venice is all about getting lost in the maze of streets not knowing what's around the corner. The shared bathrooms were spotless and not once did I use them and think they were dirty. When I come back to Venice some day this is the place I will be staying for sure.
